June Flood

June Flood is the Nurse Manager at First IVF in Clane, Co. Kildare, where she leads the nursing team and plays a central role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred fertility care.
 
She is a Registered General Nurse and Registered Midwife (RGN/RM) with extensive experience in reproductive medicine, maternity care, and primary healthcare.
 
June began her nursing career after completing her National Diploma in General Nursing with distinction in 2003, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2004. She subsequently completed a Higher Diploma in Midwifery at University College Dublin qualifying in 2007, which further developed her expertise in women’s health and maternity care.
 
She also holds a Graduate Certificate in Fertility Ultrasound from University College Dublin, reflecting her strong clinical focus on reproductive medicine. In addition, she has completed specialist training in cervical screening through the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and the National Cervical Screening Programme, and holds a Certificate in Contraception from the Irish Family Planning Association, enabling her to support individuals in making informed reproductive health decisions.
 
Over the course of her career, June has developed significant expertise in fertility treatment and women’s health. She brings many years of experience supporting patients and clinical teams through a wide range of fertility treatments and procedures, providing compassionate care and guidance to individuals and couples throughout their treatment journey. She has also played an important role in helping establish and develop fertility services within clinical settings.
 
Prior to joining First IVF, June worked in fertility clinics, general practice, and major maternity hospitals both in Ireland and internationally. Her experience includes several years as a Staff Midwife at King Abdulaziz Medical City in Riyadh, as well as roles at the National Maternity Hospital, Holles Street, where she gained extensive experience in obstetric care, labour ward management, and emergency maternity services.
 
In her role as Nurse Manager at First IVF, June is committed to ensuring that patients receive safe, compassionate, and supportive care throughout their fertility journey, while maintaining the highest standards of clinical practice and patient support.
